MacKenzie and his bandmates are so technically skilled, yet you can still feel the emotion in every second of each song. The guitar work is impeccable and will leave you utterly mesmerized when you watch MacKenzie’s fingers glide effortlessly across the fretboard.”

bill durst festival 2018.jpg

"Bill Durst has been around the block a few times, having been active in the music scene for the past four decades, both as a solo artist and with the band, Thundermug. Since 1972, he has cut ten albums and had seven hits on the Canadian charts. Somewhere in there he played with Tres Hombres, a ZZ Top tribute band, which is how he ended up with that fantastic beard!

At once elemental and unearthly, Jay Gilday’s voice is a raw and gorgeous siren of the Canadian north, fusing hymnal anguish with driving rhythm and blues. And he is about to inscribe a special chapter in Canadian music history.
